Girls trip to Melukote and Srirangapatna

This trip felt divinely orchestrated, filling our hearts with joy and devotion. We immersed ourselves in kirtans, and the peaceful atmosphere of the temple. Exploring the new temple was a beautiful experience, as we admired the deities and connected with the devotees there. The serenity of the place uplifted our spirits, making us feel refreshed and inspired. It was a day of unexpected blessings, leaving us with cherished memories and a renewed sense of spiritual energy.

🛕🛕Yoga Narasimha temple, Melukote 🛕🛕

The Yoga Narasimha Temple is a sacred hilltop dedicated to Lord Narasimha in a meditative (yoga) posture. It is believed that the temple was worshiped by Sri Ramanujacharya, making it an important pilgrimage site for Vaishnavas.

The breathtaking view from the hill, combined with the temple’s spiritual aura, attracts devotees and visitors seeking both divine blessings and natural beauty.

While waiting for darshan we engaged ourselves by chanting

Our  inspired yoginis in session with the Lord.

🛕🛕Nambi Narayana temple, Thondanoor🛕🛕

Nambi Narayana Temple in Thondanoor, Karnataka, is an ancient Vishnu temple associated with the great Vaishnavite saint Sri Ramanujacharya.

It is believed that Sri Ramanujacharya spent time in Thondanoor in the 12th century, converting the local Jain king, Bittideva (later Vishnuvardhana), to Vaishnavism.

The temple, known for its beautiful Hoysala-style architecture, houses a majestic deity of Lord Nambi Narayana, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The temple is located in a huge campus and it is one of the heritage site.

The temple is said to have played a key role in the spread of Sri Vaishnavism in Karnataka, making it an important pilgrimage site.
